“Lover’s Solitude”

There is a quiet intimacy in being held by another while still remaining entirely yourself.

Lover’s Solitude explores that beautiful space between connection and individuality — the private world that exists within an embrace, where everything outside of it seems to fall away.  The figures are less about literal portraiture and more about the feeling of closeness: the pull toward another, the comfort of being known, and the solitude that can exist even in our deepest connections.

This painting is about the moments that need no explanation.  A touch, an embrace, a shared silence — small, intimate gestures that hold an extraordinary amount of emotion.  The abstract language allows that feeling to remain open and personal, inviting the viewer to find their own memories, relationships, and stories within it.
