"Trail Ride"

Inspired by the aftermath of Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina, Trail Ride is a quiet reflection on resilience, compassion, and connection.  The painting honors the Cajun Navy and other volunteers who traveled by mule and horseback into isolated mountain commerce with when roads and familiar paths were washed away - carrying essential supplies, comfort, and hope to those who needed it most.  The horses pause beside a quiet stream, offering a moment of respite after the journey — a timeless reminder that sometimes the greatest strength is found in simply showing up for one another.
